01
What this policy covers#
This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar storage technologies (collectively "cookies") that IPkit and our service providers may set when you visit ipkit.ai or api.ipkit.ai. It complements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
03
Categories#
We classify cookies into four standard categories:
- Strictly necessary
- Required for the product to function (authentication, security, payment-fraud prevention). Cannot be disabled. No consent required under EU/UK ePrivacy regulations.
- Functional
- Remember preferences (e.g., theme, locale). Optional.
- Analytics
- Help us understand how the product is used. Optional, set only with consent where required.
- Advertising
- Used to deliver or measure third-party ads. IPkit does not use advertising cookies on any property.
05
What we do not set#
- No analytics cookies on the apex. No Google Analytics, no Vercel Web Analytics, no Plausible, no session-replay.
- No advertising or cross-context tracking cookies anywhere. IPkit does not run ad networks, retargeting pixels, or third-party trackers.
- No social-media tracking pixels.
06
Future analytics#
We plan to introduce privacy-preserving product analytics (likely PostHog) inside ipkit.ai to understand which features are useful and where users hit friction. When that ships, we will:
- Update this page with the specific cookies set and their durations.
- Present a consent banner where required by law, with granular accept-all / reject-all / manage controls.
- Respect Global Privacy Control signals and document the behaviour here.
- Default to opt-out for EU/UK/Switzerland visitors.
Until that ships, no analytics cookies are set on any IPkit property.
07
Legal bases#
Strictly necessary cookies are set under the "strictly necessary" exemption in Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive and the corresponding UK PECR provisions. Where we process personal data via cookies (for example, the IP address Stripe inspects for fraud prevention), our lawful basis is contract or legitimate interest, as described in the Privacy Policy. Any non-essential cookies we introduce in future will be set under consent.
08
Managing cookies in your browser#
You can block or delete cookies from your browser at any time. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies on ipkit.ai will prevent the portal from working — you will not be able to stay signed in or complete checkout. Browser-specific instructions:
- Chrome
- Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari
- Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox
- Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge
- Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data
Most browsers also support a private or incognito mode that clears cookies at the end of the session.
09
Third-party cookie policies#
For details about cookies set by our sub-processors, see their respective policies:
- Supabase — supabase.com/privacy
- Stripe — stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal
- Cloudflare — cloudflare.com/cookie-policy
10
Updates to this policy#
We will update this page whenever we add, remove, or materially change the cookies set on any IPkit property. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes that introduce non-essential cookies will be announced via an in-product notice.
